We are not at war with people. We are at war with Satan, his demons and their influence over people. Jesus defeated Satan. He knows this and has been mad ever since.
When did we stop calling evil, evil? How did we get to this point in our country? The suicide rate in our country is up 30% since 1999. 46,000 a year in our country die by suicide. A suicide takes place every 11 minutes in the United States:
Fentynol abuse (the drug will kill just by touching it -- it gets seeped through the skin) all the drug traffic routes head to the United States; For the World Economic Forum, extra prostitutes were flown in for the event! People now say pedophiles should be called "Minor-attracted people." How did all this evil become accepted in our society??? Sin is normalized.
"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-- 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people." 2 Timothy 3:1-5
This is now! We are brutalizing ourselves. And we are sleeping through it. Daily we hear of murder. Mexico is almost completely controlled by Drug Gangs. If we don't speak up for good our country is going the same way. When we stop saying something is wrong, our children and our youth will think that we approve of what we stay silent about. We cannot stay silent any longer. Speak up. If we don't tell them it is wrong, they will assume it is right.
"All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." Edmund Burke
Aren't we supposed to be Jesus's hands and feet and voice?
“‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy." Ezekiel 16:49
Doesn't this sound like our country now?
"The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work." 1 John 3:8
We are supposed to be doing Jesus's work. He came to cancel Satan out. The work's not done. What are we doing about the evil we see?
"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:13-17
"If you want peace, prepare for war." Julius Caesar.
We are bringing this evil on ourselves.
"All the cunning of the devil is exercised in trying to tear us away from the Word." Martin Luther
We must learn to use our one offensive weapon -- the Word of God, the sword of the Spirit.
"The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen." 2 Timothy 4:18
We have nothing to fear!!
If we don't act, all will fail. All will be lost.
"no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and this is their vindication from me,”
declares the Lord." Isaiah 54:17
"God needs an army, not an audience." Don Dickerman
God wants to be about his family business -- the business of saving souls.
2021 SURVEY: in 2019 34% of people attended church at least once a month.
In 2021 that dropped to 28% attending once a month
One in 4 church goers quit going and never went back after Covid.
Churches across America are closing. 18-34 year olds are the highest group who quit attending church.
Don't give up. Pray for them. Talk to them. If you stay silent, Satan will speak. Satan cannot defeat prayer.
There is power untapped in the church.
"As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath." Ephesians 2:1-3
Lead, don't follow. Don't watch from the side.
"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:4-9
Do not conform to this world. We need to step up and lead. A call to arms:
"Praise be to the Lord my Rock,
who trains my hands for war,
my fingers for battle." Psalm 144:1
"For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline."
2 Timothy 1:6-7
Turn the Holy Spirit loose in you!
"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31
